Mentor Matching Program
GSA offers a chance for professionals and early career professionals (ECPs) to volunteer to serve as mentors to students and/or ECPs for the duration of the meeting in one-to-one mentorships. GSA models this program off of the On To the Future mentor program which is offered at the GSA annual meetings.
What this means:
Participation in this program means that mentees and mentors both agree to meet in-person no less than 30 minutes per day for each day they are both at the meeting. The section does not need to provide anything for this program.
Logistics:
GSA has added an interest link to the section meeting registration form. Tahlia Bear will follow up with individuals about the details of this program. GSA has created an online platform where interested mentors and mentees are able to create profiles, and mentees could select their mentors.
