UPDATE ON ALCOHOL AT GSA MEETINGS

The GSA Council mandates that alcohol can no longer be served during poster receptions or during technical sessions, for all section meetings and annual meetings. It is okay to serve alcohol during the opening reception and in exhibit hall receptions during the meeting. Alcohol cannot be “walked’ from the exhibit hall to the poster hall area by any of the meeting attendees. Sections will need to keep an eye on this, and perhaps put up rope and stanchion between the posters and the exhibits.
