The GSA Foundation is pleased to have established the Michel T. Halbouty Distinguished Lecturer Fund. The fund provides an honorarium for a Halbouty Distinguished Lecturer at GSA Connects.
The fund was established to select a top lecturer on a topic of relevance to natural resources (i.e., water, land, energy, and minerals). The selection will be based on the lecturer’s career accomplishments and reputation, as well as the lecture topic.
The selected lecturer will receive an honorarium and present an hour-long lecture at GSA’s annual 2027 meeting in Montréal, Québec, Canada, scheduled independently from the technical sessions.
