2026 GSA Northeastern Section

Join us for the 61st Annual Meeting of the GSA Northeastern Section in Hartford, Connecticut, USA on 21–24 March 2026. Titled “New England and Beyond: Investigating the Lithosphere, Hydrosphere, and Anthroposphere,” this gathering brings together geoscientists to explore the region’s rich and complex geology, from the ancient Hartford rift basin with its basalt flows and fossil sites to glacial landscapes and modern environmental challenges. The meeting features technical sessions, field trips, short courses, and opportunities for students, professionals, and educators to share research, network, and engage with the broader geoscience community.
