GSA Annual Meeting Program

Available at event, free to all meeting attendees [approx. distribution: 6,500], the Program is a "daily planner" and contains descriptions and schedules for all meeting events. Advertising is available on inside pages and covers. Special position placement (other than covers) also available. Please inquire.

GSA accepts tasteful geoscience-related advertisements that may be of interest to the geoscience community. The Society reserves the right to decline advertising at its sole discretion.

Acceptance of advertising does not in any manner constitute GSA’s endorsement or recommendation of the providers’ products, services, policies, or practices.

  • Electronic files plus hard copy of ad due 30 July.
  • No cancellation of any contracted space after closing date.

Covers

  • Cover 2 (inside front), Cover 3 (inside back), and Cover 4 (outside back) positions available
  • Cover positions will be sold as 4-color only.
  • Covers are non-cancelable, unless made in writing at least 120 days prior to closing date.
  • Inquire for availability. Previous year clients are offered first rights of refusal.

  • Electronic Art Files: Ads must be sent electronically. Illustrations and photos should be saved as .TIFF or .EPS (JPEG not acceptable format).
  • Hi resolution PDFs are accepted as final art. Use Adobe Acrobat Distiller default setting PDF/X-1a.
  • If submitting native files, supply hard copy proof at 100% (in color if applicable).
  • CMYK color on covers only: 300 dpi; gray-scale: 300 dpi; line art: 1200 dpi; ruled lines no smaller than 0.3 pt.
  • Disclaimer: GSA will not alter client ads to ensure quality print reproduction. Ads sent with images or type at resolutions other than that specified are not guaranteed to reproduce at highest quality.
