Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jon Major, 6–7:30 p.m. Cedar Ballroom, listen to Dr. Jon Major, Scientist-in-Charge at the US Geological Survey, Cascade Volcano Observatory, present “Four decades of Mount St. Helens as a master teacher.” This is part of a recognition of the 44th anniversary of the eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18th, 1980.

Guide-yourself Field Trip of Riverfront Park, 1:30–4 p.m. Leave the Davenport Grand and walk through Riverfront Park. Upper Falls Dam Power house (Stop 4) will be open to see the turbine and historic building from 2–3 p.m. The combined sewer overflow (CSO) tank (Stop 7) will open from 2:30–3:30 p.m. Volunteers will be stationed at each of the seven stops to help.
