Engage with Geoscience on U.S. Public Lands
How to
Apply
While most opportunities closed after 3 February, make sure to check out any off-season GeoCorps projects we have open.
GeoCorps™ America offers paid short-term geoscience opportunities in some of the most beautiful natural areas in the world. Topic areas include geology, hydrology, paleontology, mapping and GIS, minerals, soils, glaciology, geohazards, karst, education, and interpretation. GSA partners with the USDA Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and other organizations committed to science and stewardship in order to offer the program. GeoCorps participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Learn more.
View the recording and slides from our recent webinar, "GeoCorps™ America: Program Experience and Applying," to hear from past GeoCorps alumni about their program experience and the geoscience being done on public lands.
