Description: Glaciated regions of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois contain
complex hydrologic systems in a mantled karst topography. Yellow Springs, Ohio, has
hydrogeologic features that are exemplary of this complex landscape. Half the day will
be spent on short hikes around Yellow Springs. Afterward, we will tour local
developers/retailers of environmental instrumentation.
