Description: Magmatic structures, including mineral fabrics, folds, faults,
internal contacts, layers, tubes, troughs, pipes, and small diapirs occur in plutons. We
will (1) present field, structural, and geochemical techniques useful for evaluating these
structures; (2) work with participants on several case studies; and (3) discuss the
potential uses of these structures in magmatic systems.
