GSA members are invited to comment on the draft of major revisions to a position statement: Geosciences and Energy Policy. The comment period runs through 15 Aug. 2022.
In April 2022, Council approved minor revisions to three GSA position statements: Geoheritage, The Value of Geologic Mapping, and Freedom of Scientific Expression. GSA members are encouraged to use the statements as geoscience communication tools when interacting with policymakers, students, colleagues, and the general public.
