International management board members intend to let applicants know about their status
(successful or not) by 10 July 2021.
With the current COVID-19 situation improving and social distancing regulations easing, GSA Connects 2021 in Portland, Oregon, USA, is being planned as an in-person meeting with online options. To fly to the US, please check with your country and US regulations regarding requirements related to COVID-19 such as proof of a negative COVID test. If the COVID-19 pandemic persists and social distancing regulations are enforced, then GSA Connects 2021 will be held 100% online.
The deadline for applications has passed (15 June 2021). No further applications may be submitted. GSA International management board members intend to let applicants know about their status (successful or not) by 10 July 2021.
Information on the GSA International Travel Grants:
The GSA International Travel Grants are awarded annually. Applicants do not need to be members of GSA or GSA International to apply (although it is preferred). Successful applicants must reside outside of North America, and they must present at the GSA meeting to be eligible to receive a check from GSA during the meeting. Please bear in mind that GSA International Travel Grants are limited both in the number of awards and the amount of the allocation. It is highly recommended that you seek local funding to offset the cost of attending the GSA Connects annual meeting. In the event that the meeting must be held 100% online, then GSA International Travel Grants will offer a limited number of awards with a maximum cap of $100 US to each successful applicant to offset the cost of registration and abstract submission. At a 100% online meeting, successful applicants must present their research online to be eligible to receive a check from GSA after the meeting.
