Farouk El-Baz Student Research Grant
This grant is to encourage and support desert studies by students either in their senior year of their undergraduate studies, or at the Masters or Ph.D. level.

NOTE: Applicants who receive a graduate student research grant may not receive this award in the same year. Past GSA research grant recipients may apply and receive this award.

We do not offer scholarships to be used for tuition, housing, etc., nor do we assist students in seeking acceptance into graduate school. Although we do not have specific information about financial assistance that may be available from other sources, individual colleges and universities provide scholarship, grant, and loan programs, and such information is normally available in their catalog. If you have a specific university in mind, we suggest that you contact them for this type of information.
