Corrigendum
Regarding: Muttoni, G., and D. Kent, 2016, A novel plate tectonic scenario for the genesis and sealing of
some major Mesozoic oil fields: GSA Today, v. 26, no. 12, p. 4–10, https://www.geosociety.org/gsatoday/
archive/26/12/abstract/i1052-5173-26-12-4.htm: Since its publication in 2016, two separate issues have
emerged concerning some of the paleomagnetic data used in the publication. Muttoni and Kent have there-
fore crafted a corrigendum (online at https://www.geosociety.org/gsatoday/archive/26/12/pdf/muttoni
-2016-corrigendum .pdf) that describes the issues and indicates the associated corrections.
