Assistant Professor, Economic Geology, University of Nevada, Reno
The Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology (NBMG) at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor focused on hydrothermal mineral deposits. NBMG is a research and public service unit of the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) and serves as the state geological survey. The primary responsibilities of this position include conducting field-based research, teaching mainly in the field of Economic Geology, particularly hydrothermal mineral deposits, and to a lesser extent in structural geology, and supervision of graduate students.
