Assistant Professor of Geology, Arkansas Tech University

The Department of Physical Sciences invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Geology in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Arkansas Tech University. We are seeking a broadly trained aqueous or environmental geochemist to fill an interdisciplinary, tenure-track, 9-month position. Responsibilities will include: teaching introductory undergraduate courses in the Geology and Environmental Science programs, in addition to low-temperature geochemistry and other upper-level courses; developing a research program involving undergraduate students; and a commitment of service to the college, the university, and the community. Applicants must hold an earned Ph.D. in Geology or closely related field (or ABD with completion by December 31, 2020). Position start date is August 10, 2020.
