Assistant Professor, Environmental Geologist, Fredonia, State University of New York

Fredonia, State University of New York seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor-Environmental Geologist position beginning August 2020. We are seeking a creative and collaborative colleague who will engage in excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service within both our majors and general education programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geology & Environmental Sciences, as well as contributing to our general education course offerings. Doctorate in Environmental Geology or closely related field required. Preference will be given to those applicants with a doctoral focus in Environmental Geology/Remote Sensing and demonstrated excellence in teaching, research and publication in the area of Environmental Geology.
