Why Participate?

  • Showcase Your Club: Share your club’s unique identity and passion for geology with a fun and creative T-shirt design.
  • Win Cash Prizes: Fund your club's activities, events, and projects with cash awards for finalists and the ultimate winner.
  • Connect and Compete: Network with other geology clubs regionally and nationally, and gain recognition across GSA.
  • Earn Bragging Rights: Be crowned the Champion and see your club’s design sold at GSA Connects 2025!

How to Get Started

  • Step 1: Design a geology-inspired T-shirt that captures your club’s unique energy and passion. Your design doesn’t need to be your official logo—it can feature a geologic theme, creative artwork, or an image inspired by your members' shared passions. Your club and school name will proudly appear on the back of the shirt, so don’t feel like it needs to be in the design!
  • Step 2: Submit your design by the deadline, 11 February
  • Step 3: Rally your supporters and prepare for the voting competition that will be held leading up to your Section Meeting!

How It Works

1. Regional Competitions:

  • Geology clubs will submit their geology-inspired logo or T-shirt design to compete regionally at the GSA Section Meetings.
  • Clubs will rally their friends, family, and fellow geology enthusiasts to vote for their design online.
  • Each Section's winning club will advance to the final round, held in April.

2. The National Finals:
A final round of voting held 22-24 April 2025 will determine the Champion of the Tee-Off, and the winning club will be announced before the end of the 2025 school year.

3. The Prize:

  • National Winner: The champion design will be featured on a T-shirt sold at GSA Connects 2025, with proceeds supporting geology clubs.
  • Prizes:
$500 for the Champion Club (in addition to the first $500 won as a Section finalist).
    $500 for each Section finalist.
Winning club receives up to 20 free shirts with their winning design for their club members.
