Location
The meeting will take place at the Dayton Convention Center, 22 E. Fifth Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402, USA. Located where I-75 meets I-70, Dayton is known as the "Birthplace of Aviation." Today, the city remains a center for significant industrial, aerospace, and technological / engineering research activities, technical innovations, and inventions; both the National Museum of the United States Air Force and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are in Dayton. With its thriving downtown area, beautiful parks, and Midwestern charm, the city is also a great destination for family vacations. Finally, for geologists and rock-hounds: Dayton is centrally located within the Cincinnati Arch, surrounded by world-class late Ordovician strata and less than a 90-minute drive away from the famous Devonian Silica Shale, which has produced many prized trilobites, fish, and crinoids.
