Bulletin Cover Manuscripts for GSA Bulletin should report the results of thoroughly documented, completed research and should exemplify the use of the scientific method in reaching conclusions. Although no rigid page limit is specified for the Bulletin, authors are expected to provide concise text and illustrations that use page space efficiently. Papers are published several months after acceptance.

Discussions of Bulletin articles, along with the author's Reply, generally require no peer review and are published rapidly after GSA editorial review. Manuscripts are limited to four pages, including illustrations. Discussions must be submitted within one year after the original article was published.

Note: For GSA Bulletin manuscripts received after August 31, 2000, page charges will be voluntary for the first 10 published pages only. All pages in excess of 10 pages will incur a mandatory charge of $125 per page.
