Proposals Encouraged |
The Penrose Conferences, named in honor of R.A.F. Penrose,
Jr., a benefactor of the Geological Society of America, were established in l969
by the Society as a further step in its service to the science of geology. The
conferences provide the opportunity for exchange of current information and exciting
ideas pertaining to the science of geology and related fields. They are intended
to stimulate and enhance individual and collaborative research and to accelerate
the advance of the science by the interactions and development of new ideas. |
