Jim Ryan to Serve as Councilor for GAC

Jim Ryan, research scientist at the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC), was elected to a three-year term as Councillor of the Geological Association of Canada (GAC) at the annual GAC-MAC conference in St. Catharines.
The continued growth and vitality of GAC is dependent on the volunteer effort of many people and GAC is very pleased to acknowledge Dr. Ryan's committment to the association over the next three years.
Dr. Ryans's other volunteer activities include Vice Chair of the GAC Structural Geology and Tectonics Division, Vice President of the GAC Cordilleran Section and Community Advisor for the University of British Columbia GAC Student Chapter.
