Public transportation in Munich
The city of Munich has a well developed public transportation system. The Munich transport corporation (MVG) jointly with the Deutsche Bahn provides a combination of urban and suburban trains, tramways, and busses to ensure access to any destination in the city center and outlying districts. This network is known as the MVV.
