Event Planning Guide

Due to the proximity of the event we are no longer accepting space requests online.  If you need to request a meeting room please contact the GSA Annual Meeting Office at +1-612-335-6665.  The office hours are Fri. 7 Oct. – Wed. 12 Oct., 7 a.m.-6 p.m. 

Use the planning guide links in the menu at right to help you plan your event. The GSA Presidential Address and Awards Ceremony is on a new date. The time for the Exhibit Hall Opening and Welcome Reception have also changed. Please see the Deadlines & Key Events page for all the changes to the schedule.

The Hilton Minneapolis will serve as the headquarters hotel. Registration, technical programs, poster sessions, and exhibits will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. All meeting space assignments will be made by the GSA Meetings Department staff. Every effort will be made to accommodate your requests.

Note: Field Trips will depart from the Minneapolis Convention Center.

To arrange for meeting rooms to hold events (i.e., business meetings, luncheons, receptions, interview rooms, etc.) you must complete and submit the Space Request Form with payment. The space request form is not necessary for GSA official technical sessions.

PLEASE complete the form in as much detail as possible. List exact times, room arrangement desired, and estimated attendance. This is critical for correct space assignment. A separate Event Space Request Form must be completed for all events related to the Annual Meeting.

Space is available and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Don't delay in completing your Space Request Form.

Space Request Deadline: 7 June 2011
Space may be requested after the 7 June deadline. However, it will be assigned based on availability. In order to accommodate any post-deadline requests, GSA asks the group to be flexible with requested times and dates.
