GSA-sponsored professional development short courses will be held immediately before and during the annual meeting and are open to members and nonmembers. If you register only for a short course, you must pay a US$40 nonregistrant fee in addition to the course fee. This fee may be applied toward meeting registration if you decide to attend the meeting. Excepted from this requirement are GSA K-12 Teacher Members, who need only pay the short course fee if not attending the entire meeting.
Early registration is recommended; standard registration (after 24 Sept.) is an additional US$30. For additional information on short courses, contact Jennifer Nocerino, .
Continuing Education Unit (CEU) All professional development courses and workshops sponsored by GSA offer CEUs. A CEU is made up of 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. A contact hour is defined as a typical 60-minute classroom instructional session or its equivalent; ten instructional hours are required for one CEU. |
Associated & Allied Society Courses
These are held just before the meeting begins. Meeting registration is not required, however, you must sign up for the course.
