from the GSA Student Travel Fund
The deadline has passed for Student Travel Fund Applications.
Undergraduate and graduate students can apply for an award from the GSA Student Travel Fund to help cover some of the costs associated with attending the GSA Annual Meeting in Denver. GSA and the GSA Foundation have each contributed $1,000 to this fund and meeting attendees are being given the opportunity to contribute to the fund via their Annual Meeting registration form. The number and amount of awards will be solely based on contributions received.
100% of the contributions received will go to help fund student travel. If there is an excess of funds left over, the remaining money will go back into the Student Travel Fund for the 2005 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City.
NOTE: This fund is different from the SECTION Travel Grants. If you are applying for a Section Travel Grant, please follow the directions for that section by clicking on the Section name in the table to the left.
To qualify for an award from the GSA Student Travel Fund, you must:
- be a student member of GSA [ join GSA now ]
- be registered for the GSA Annual Meeting [ register now ]
GSA members pay the discounted registration fee, which more than offsets the cost to become a member.
- be enrolled in an accredited university or college for the Fall 2004 semester,
- complete and submit the Student Travel Funds Application Form by September 30, 2004.
