Downtown
Located in the heart of downtown, the Denver Convention Center is just a few short blocks from Larimer Square and the 16th Street Mall, a mile-long pedestrian promenade that runs through the center of the downtown shopping district. Great food and fun await in an area around Coors Field called LoDo (Lower Downtown) where restaurants and brew pubs abound. Many of Denver's top attractions are within a few minutes' walk of the Convention Center, including the U.S. Mint, where over six billion coins are made each year; the Colorado State Capitol; the Denver Performing Arts Complex; and the famous Denver Art Museum with its outstanding collection of Native American arts, plus Colorado's incredible aquarium, Ocean Journey.
