Directions to Atkinson Hall

- Take the Interstate 5 Freeway
- Exit La Jolla Village Drive
- Head west on La Jolla Village Drive
- Turn right at the first light past the freeway on Villa La Jolla Drive
- Turn right at the second light on Gilman Drive
- Turn left at the stop sign onto Voigt Drive
- At the intersection just past Canyonview Pool, turn right (still on Voigt Drive)
- Continue on Voigt Drive and Atkinson Hall will be the third building on your left
Parking

A permit is always required if you wish to park on the UCSD campus during the week and may be purchased for $6/day at several locations. Conference participants are encouraged to park in one of several nearby lots in green spaces only. These lots fill quickly in the morning and if these lots are full, please park in lot P705, where a courtesy UCSD Regents Express Shuttle will pick up attendees and drop them near Atkinson Hall (at the Warren Apartments stop).

Transportation to/from Airport
By Shuttle: A number of companies operate shuttle vans. Cloud 9 shuttle, +1-619-505-4950, or +1-800-9-SHUTTLE) Shuttle Service is available on the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2 via the skybridge. If you find yourself arriving at the Transportation Plaza with at least 5 other conference-bound persons, ask Cloud 9 for an "exclusive rate," which can reduce fare costs up to $4 per person.
By Rental Car: Car rentals are also available at the airport, with shuttles providing transportation to the rental facilities. A map and driving directions from the San Diego Airport to Calit2 are available here (using Google Maps). General directions UCSD are also on the Web.
By Train or Bus: Train information and fares can be found via the Metropolitan Transit System. Both the train (Amtrak) and bus (Greyhound) stations are located in downtown San Diego, not far from the airport. The Cloud 9 Shuttle will provide service from either station to UCSD; you can call them at +1-619-505-4950 or +1-800-9-SHUTTLE.
By Taxi: Taxi fare to or from the airport, bus station, or train depot is approximately $40-$50 each way. The following providers can be contacted for additional information and reservations:
