Research Technician, The University of Kansas
The Geology Department at The University of Kansas seeks a full- time Research Technician. This is advanced technical research work in the preparation of geological samples for analysis including design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, technique development and operation. This work includes primarily, the cutting and polishing of rock samples for preparation of polished thin sections, polished rock slabs and the preparation and polishing of epoxy grain mounts.
