GSA Section Research Grants
for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Recipients for graduate research grants from the South-Central Section are selected from applicants to the GSA general research grants program who are recommended by the Committee on Research Grants to the Management Board of the section for final selection. Eligibility is restricted to graduate students attending a college or university within the geographic area of the section.
The South-Central Section also awards grants to undergraduate students;
application forms and deadline information are available from the section secretary.
The North-Central Section awards grants to undergraduate students within
the geographic boundary of the section. For further information contact the section
secretary.
The Southeastern Section awards grants for both undergraduate and graduate
student members of GSA who are enrolled in institutions within the geographical
boundaries of the section. Application forms and deadline information can be obtained
from the section secretary.
The Northeastern Section offers research grants for undergraduate students
who are enrolled at institutions within the section and are Student Associates
of GSA. Contact the section secretary, Stephen Pollock, pollock@usm.maine.edu,
for application forms and deadline information.
The Rocky Mountain and Cordilleran Sections do not currently offer research grants.
