- Arrive in Anchorage mid-day to Best Western Barratt Inn
- Free shuttle to hotel
- Welcome party 5:00pm and overview of the week
- Short walking tour of Anchorage including discussion of the impacts of the 1964 earthquake
- Dinner on your own around Anchorage
22 July
- Breakfast buffet at Best Western
- Depart 8:30 for Prince William Sound full day boat tour
- View many glaciers up-close and narrative by Molnia
- Wildlife viewing from boat
- Lunch included on boat
- Return Anchorage early evening, dinner on your own
23 July
- Breakfast buffet at Best Western
- Pack up, depart Anchorage at 8:30 for Seward
- Stop at Portage Glacier
- Hiking at Exit Glacier
- Picnic lunch included
- Stay at Holiday Inn Express, Seward
- Dinner on your own around Seward
24 July
- Depart Holiday Inn at 8:00 for full day boat tour
- Full day at Kenai Fjords National Park
- Breakfast & lunch on boat
- Return to Seward at 6:30
- Dinner on your own around town
25 July
- After breakfast at Holiday Inn, depart for Alaska Sea Life Center in Seward
- Then pack up and head toward Hatcher Pass to hike
- Picnic lunch included
- We will check into the luxurious Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge near Talkeetna
- Dinner and free time on your own at the lodge
26 July
- After breakfast & check-out, leave the Princess Lodge for Denali National Park
- Meet Phil Brease, Park geologist, for an overview of the geology of Denali
- Full day private bus tour of the Park with lots of stops to walk around
- Overnight at McKinley Creekside Cabins
- Dinner on your own at the McKinley Cabins restaurant
27 July
- After breakfast on the creek, depart for more fun at Denali National Park
- Then, check-out and head toward Fairbanks
- Visit to the Quaternary Museum and the Univ of Alaska Geophysical Institute and International Arctic Research Center in Fairbanks
- Stay at the Bridgewater Hotel in Fairbanks
- Dinner on your own around town
28 July
- Breakfast at the hotel, then soak at Chena Hot Springs
- After lunch, visit the Permafrost Tunnel and gold operation
- Dinner together & farewell event
- Stay at the Bridgewater Hotel in Fairbanks
End of Tour in Fairbanks. You have the option to fly out of Fairbanks (preferred option) or to travel with our van the morning of the 29th back to Anchorage for a flight. Please check both flight options & prices. The drive back to Anchorage is very long, so flying from Fairbanks may be an option for you.
