Cancellation Policy & Flight Information
GSA strongly advises you to take out travel insurance for any GeoVenture you wish to attend to ensure that you are covered for illness or other mishap that would stop you from participating within one month prior to departure, as GSA will not offer a refund within this period.
The following policy applies to refunds in the event that you have paid a deposit and/or paid for the trip in-full and then must cancel your reservation PRIOR to one calendar month before departure on trips coordinated and operated by GSA solely. Please check the cancellation policy of our partners (Holbooks etc) for jointly run trips as their policy overrule this policy.
- If you have paid a trip deposit and must cancel before the deposit deadline listed for each trip, you will receive your full refund of the deposit.
- If you have paid a trip deposit and must cancel prior to one calendar month of the departure of the trip, you will be refunded all moneys paid minus a $100 processing fee per person.
- If the trip is cancelled by GSA for any reason (minimum number attending not reached, trip leader illness, etc.), GSA will provide full refund.
Before Purchasing Your Airline Tickets
Please be advised that you should not purchase flight tickets unless GSA has confirmed that the trip will run. GSA has a minimum number of participants that must attend in order to provide this tour service. If we do not reach that minimum number of participants, GSA can decide not to run the tour. Please check with the GeoVentures program manager BEFORE purchasing your airline tickets. Please call GSA at: 1800-472-1988 and ask for GeoVentures. GSA cannot be responsible for tickets bought prior to confirmation of the tour.
