Print and Web Media – GSA Today

Includes: Positions Open, Opportunities for Students, Fellowship Opportunities, and Situations Wanted (print and Web format).
Recruitments / classifieds advertising appears both in GSA Today in print and on the Web. All print ads appearing in GSA Today are posted to the GSA Today Web (for month[s] of print issue release and remain posted for duration of that month) at no additional charge. Alternatively, you may elect to purchase a Web-only ad.
GSA Today is released during the first week of each month, except for a combined April/May issue which is produced and released per April scheduling.
* DISPLAY (boxed) RECRUITMENT ADS ARE AVAILABLE and are placed in GSA Today print issues in the recruitments / classified ads section. Text will be posted on the GSA Today Web to coincide with release of print issue. See GSA Today Display Rates for scheduling information.
DEADLINES: print and web
PRINT ADS (or cancellations) must reach the GSA Today Advertising office by the first of the month, one month prior to the month of issue. Example: Ads (or cancellations) for the June issue must reach the advertising desk by 1May. GSA Today can not be responsible for any ads with deadlines earlier than the end of the month of issue. [Note: April/May, combined issue, publishes April schedule. Classified ad copy due by 1 March.]
WEB-ONLY ADS may be submitted anytime for posting to the GSA Today Web site. Client assumes responsibility for posting well ahead of closing, or application due, dates.
TO SUBMIT ad copy: print and web
Send ad copy to the GSA Advertising Manager (Word doc or text pasted into body of email; no pdfs) to obtain estimate.
GSA will return estimate; client must provide GSA with approval to proceed.
GSA will schedule ad for placement based on client option(s) for release.
If client elects web posting, client will be sent invoice for payment prior to upload of ad.
(GSA does not currently offer upload to website by client or on-line payments)
PRINT: send by e-mail or as an e-mail attachment [MS Word format] on or before the 1st of the month, one month prior to the issue release
(ie 1 November for December issue).
Note: PDF files are not an acceptable format for submitting recruitment line ad classifieds.
WEB : send by e-mail or as an e-mail attachment [MS Word format] at any time for estimate and upload
Note: PDF files are not an acceptable format for submitting web recruitment classified ads.

Include complete address, phone number, and e-mail address with all correspondence.
All advertising must meet the Society's criteria for publication. GSA reserves the right to reject any advertising that does not meet these criteria.
PAYMENT INFORMATION: print and web
Payment is not made via the GSA website.
Advertising Manager will contact clients with cost of advertisement and relay payment information.
Cost estimate: 54 characters per line, including all punctuation and blank spaces (one space only between each sentence); multiply by the appropriate rate. Actual cost may differ if you use capitals, centered copy, or special characters. (This is only an estimate).
PRINT: Invoice generated with release of issue. Client may also request prepayment invoice. Terms: net 30 days. Payment by credit card accepted.
WEB: GSA requires payment prior to upload/posting of the ad. GSA will send invoice by email as pdf file. Payment Terms: due upon receipt prior to ad upload. Credit card accepted for payment.
Payment is not made via the GSA website.

Hyperlinks for all Web page and e-mail links: $25 per ad insertion.
Client must provide exact linking information when submitting ad copy. To ensure that the address is complete, GSA will check initial posted site links, but cannot be responsible for any subsequent client alterations.
Make your web ad stand out by adding corporate logo: $50 one time posting fee
Client must provide graphic as .jpeg or .gif file.
