South-Central Section
STUDENT RESEARCH GRANTS
The South-Central Section of the Geological Society of America offers competitive undergraduate research grants to students enrolled in institutions of higher education in the South-Central Section and who are student members of the Geological Society of America.
Students must be members of the South Central Section (university, college, and 2-year college (2YC) students are eligible) and should have the objective of presenting the results of their research at a South-Central Section Meeting or at a GSA Annual meeting. The expected amount is $500.
Undergraduate applications (2 copies) must be postmarked no later than 1 April 2013 and awards will be made by 30 April 2013. Applications should be sent to:
