GSA Joint Section Meeting - 2014
66th Rocky Mountain Meeting
110th Cordilleran Meeting
19–21 May 2014
Bozeman, Montana, USA
Call for proposals
The Rocky Mountain and Cordilleran sections of GSA are combining forces for a joint meeting in Bozeman, Montana, on 19–21 May 2014. Bozeman is a beautiful university town located in the Gallatin Valley of southwest Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park. The joint meeting will be hosted by Montana State University and will be held on the MSU campus.
The program committee invites the submission of proposals for symposia or theme sessions, field trips, short-courses, and workshops for the 2014 Joint Rocky Mountain/Cordilleran section meeting. In keeping with the spirit of the joint meeting we are particularly interested in proposals that focus on geologic problems broadly relevant to the Northwest U.S. and adjacent Canada in all geologic disciplines. Proposal submissions are due by 20 August 2013.
The joint RM/Cord meeting in Bozeman will be an excellent opportunity to participate in an interesting scientific program, join fascinating field trips, and meet with colleagues to discuss “hot” geoscience topics from the High Plains to the West Coast.
Please join us in helping to make this a dynamic and exciting meeting.
Proposals should include:
- Title of session
- Principal Organizer (name, affiliation, email)
- Co-organizers (names, affiliations, emails)
