Research by Ezquerra, Costeur, et al. documenting a swimming non-avian therapod dinosaur from the early Cretaceous (GEOLOGY, June 2007) received worldwide coverage. The story was reported by Reuters, Public Radio International, BBC, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and CNN. Stories also appeared on Discovery Channel, Scientific American, Science Daily, Daily Record (Glasgow), Xinhuanet (Beijing), and Times of India.

Evidence that the Tibetan Plateau pre-dates the Himalayas presented by DeCelles et al. (GSA BULLETIN, May-June 2007) was reported by the Discovery Channel.
