The Online Glacier Photograph Database "Long-Term Change Photograph Pairs," features comparative photographs of Alaskan glaciers, that demonstrate substantial changes in glacier position and size over time.
The NOW (Neogene of the Old World) database contains information about Eurasian Miocene to Pleistocene land mammal taxa and localities, with emphasis on the European Miocene and Pliocene.
GSA along with AGU and AGI cosponsored a booth at the Coalition for National Science Funding Exhibition and Reception held in Washington, D.C., 7 June 2006. The event attracted more than 350 attendees including Members of Congress and congressional staff.
