Coalition for National Science Funding

Exhibition and Reception

The purpose of the event is to showcase the crucial role the National Science Foundation plays in meeting the nation's research and education needs. This year the booth highlighted the hydrologic sciences. The displays were provided by two NSF Centers, SAHRA (Sustainability of Semi-Arid Hydrology and Riparian Areas) and NCED (National Center for Earth-Surface Dynamics). The event, held in the Rayburn Office Building in Washington, D.C., 7 June 2006, where GSA along with AGU and AGI cosponsored a booth, attracted over 350 attendees including Members of Congress and congressional staff.
