Sarah Noble to be 2004-2005 GSA-USGS Congressional Science Fellow

Sarah NobleSelected from a field of excellent applicants, Noble is a doctoral candidate in Planetary Geology at Brown University. Noble writes “I have always been interested in the interplay between science and politics. In our technologically advanced world, it is critical that scientists communicate effectively with all levels of government in order to help improve citizens’ lives and ensure the long-term health of our planet.” Sarah’s term as Congressional Science Fellow will begin in August 2004.
