GSA Welcomes New Meetings and Events Director
GSA is pleased to announce that Rebecca Fazzari, CMP, CMM, has joined our staff as the new Meetings and
Director, effective 7 January 2019.
Ms. Fazzari most recently served as the Assistant Director of Conference Management at the University of
Boulder, a post she held since 2015. She has worked in meetings and events activities in both staff and
roles since 2004. Her background includes association experience, as well as extensive involvement in a
clients’ operations and strategies through her work with meetings management companies.
She has a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University where she majored in Management and
Information Systems, and received her event management certificate from George Washington University.
Originally from Annapolis, Rebecca spent several years working in the DC Metro Area coordinating large
and events—her largest event hosting 17,000 guests. Rebecca excels in contract negotiations and thrives on
relationships with her clients. She takes great care to provide excellent customer service and says she is
forward to working closely with GSA members and staff to take the Annual Meeting to the next level.” She is
